The boys really enjoyed decorating the Christmas tree this year! In fact, Wyatt redecorates it every morning when he wakes up. "Lets move this one over here and this one over there." He just loves it!

Puppy Love

Meet Koda, our new puppy. He is a 5 month old Yorkshire Terrier. We just got him three weeks ago from a breeder in Kennewick. He is Wyatt's new best friend. They keep each other busy all day long. He just had his first visit to the groomer this morning. Wyatt went with me to drop the dog off for his appointment, and when Wyatt realized that we had to LEAVE Koda he was not a very happy camper. He was very concerned and wanted to stay and watch Koda take his bath. He was so worried that Koda would miss him. When we went back to pick him up, (a very long hour and a half later) Wyatt was so excited that he squealed when he saw Koda's new haircut. He giggled the whole way home in the car. It was pretty cute!

Superbowl Material? Well....there is always next year.

Haulin Leaves

Oh....the many uses of Tonka trucks! The boys sure have put the miles on these Tonkas. They played all afternoon piling leaves, loading trucks and dumping them in various locations around the yard. The kids sure made raking leaves look like less of a chore!

The Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time at the Pumpkin Patch this year. The weather was perfect and there was so much for the kids to do. First we took the tractor ride out the the patch to find each of the kids a pumpkin. Next we toured the petting zoo, and then let the kids run through the straw maze. The kids each got a balloon animal from the clown. And the highlight for the boys was the bouncy house, which we saved for last.

Apple Orchard

These are just a few pics from our visit to Pheasant's Orchard in Soap Lake. Every year my Grandparents come visit for a weekend and make a special trip to pick apples at the orchard. This year my Parents, Wyatt and myself all tagged along. These are just a few photos from our visit. Wyatt loved using the wagon to haul apples, and of course, Great Grandpa couldn't resist giving Wyatt a ride too! All together we left with 13 boxes of apples,(40lbs each)!

We had a great weekend. We took the kids to watch the Chiefs football game on Friday night after picking up Taylor. The kids seemed to enjoy it... even though we lost. Lee had to work on Saturday so it was just the boys and I most of the day. Grandma Cole and Great Grandma came over for a visit in the morning. Then the boys and I ran to town for groceries and stopped at the Farmer's Market where we ran into my parents. We got some fresh produce to make salsa.
Lee was off earlier than anticipated, so the boys were suprised to see him and enjoyed playing with him for the rest of the afternoon. They spent the afternoon outside riding their powerwheels in the field. While they were outside, I made a batch of salsa and a loaf of zuchinni bread. When they finally came in, the boys wanted to play with playdough. I couldn't resist taking a few pictures. Wyatt decided that it didn't taste as good as it looked! We all got a good laugh at him when he tried his first bite. He made the worst face and yelled YUCK, followed by some spitting and brushing his tounge off with his hand. After that, he was content to just "play" with it. :)

Time to 4x4!!!

Wyatt has been waiting for Daddy to get this four wheeler going for weeks now! After a few minor wiring adjustments and an eighteen hour charge on the new battery, he's out cruising the neighborhood! Equipped with high and low gears and of course, sound effects, this is by far Wyatt's favorite toy! I hope that he isn't too disappointed when he realizes that he must soon share his new 4x4 with brother. I'm sure they will be out cruising for chicks together before the weekend is over. lol.

Last weekend Taylor and Dad headed to the fishing hole for some father son time. Taylor caught his first fish of the season before dad even had a chance to get his line in the water. Way to go Tay!
